The youth soccer landscape has undergone many structural changes and presented many challenges over the past few years. As a result, we have been meeting to plan for the impact of these changes on the North Shore youth soccer community.
As a result of these changes and challenges, the North Shore Soccer Club has changed the format for the Fall Intramural Program for this coming fall of 2018 season in an effort to provide a fun, high-quality, community-based soccer experience for children at all skill levels in the North Shore area.
Parent Volunteer Coaches. While we appreciate all the countless hours our volunteers have given to our program over the years, the club’s biggest challenge over the past few seasons has been finding Volunteer coaches for our teams. To address this growing challenge, the North Shore Soccer Club has hired Gold Coast F.C. to support the Intramural program with local trainers to manage training for all age groups (Tiny-Tots, Pre-K and Kindergarten through 4th grade)
Practices. All practices will be managed under the guidance of Gold Coast F.C. Kindergarten through 2nd grade will practice once during the week. 3rdand 4th grade will practice for 30-45 minutes prior to the scheduled game on Game Day.
Games. Gold Coast F.C. Training staff will manage all aspects of the game on Game day (line ups, substitutions and referee)
